This is great news (especially for old school Amiga gamers!). Speedball 2 is coming to the live arcade in August. Quoted from c&vg website: "The XBLA version is said to be a perfect conversion of the original Bitmap Brothers classic, with the addition of new teams, download content and an obligatory high definition version."

When I saw this I initially thought I'd never played this but those screenshots make me think otherwise! =)
One question, was this ported over to a Sega (not sure which exact console) at some point?
I remember playing it, but I thought it was on a friend's Sega, rather than my Amiga. Though I had so many games for the Amiga it could well have been and I'm just being mistaken, lol!

This game is brilliant! Classic, in response to other comment, it came out on Amiga, Sega and is actually available on PC as well.
